London – BBH London has released the latest in a series of commercials for car manufacturer Audi’s A1 hatchback.
The campaign, A Big Idea Condensed, began last autumn with a series of print adverts. The most recent additions comprise five 10-second animations highlighting the car’s specifications, such as its powerful Xenon headlights, Bose speakers and economical engine.
The commercials are an effective departure from the familiar conventions of car advertising. The stylised look of the animations feeds into the idea that the car is well designed.
