London – The term immersive is thrown around too easily. For a real immersive experience head to Google’s Inside Abbey Road.
The North London studio has opened its doors to Google’s cameras, allowing it to map every square inch for users around the world to explore along with extra content. ‘This collaboration with Google gives the outside world a great insight into the everyday workings of the studio and allows anyone to glimpse the magic that goes on inside the world’s most famous recording studio,’ says Abbey Road producer Giles Martin.
Visitors to Studios 1, 2 and 3 can play instruments, learn about recording equipment and watch behind-the-scenes footage, courtesy of Google-owned YouTube, of how some of history’s most iconic albums and scores were created.
The Big Picture: Transmedia Storytelling provides brands with a way to tell their story in an imaginative and engaging way, attracting loyal consumers in the process.
