London – Brett Booth, freelance strategist and youth culture expert, gave us a fascinating insight into the issues that affect modern youth at LS:N Global’s Youth Networking Evening on 18 April.
A self-proclaimed Sound Cloud addict, Booth thrives on his fascination with what is new and next to help maintain a connection with young consumers.
Booth explained that young people today are concerned about their career prospects more than ever, and stressed the important role that brands play in providing them with a future and nurturing their talents.
As an example, he championed Adidas’s latest Take The Stage campaign, which promotes young up-and-coming talents in the UK. ‘That resonates with the audience,’ he said. ‘They appreciate the opportunity and feel a warmth towards Adidas because of the experience that is being facilitated.’
