London – Japanese design studio Nendo is unveiling its latest designs with auction house Phillips de Pury & Company at the Saatchi Gallery later this month.
The ‘Thin Black Lines’ collection includes a chair, a bowl, a mirror and a hanger rack – all moulded from solid tubular steel. As LS:N Global explores in the Minimal Luxury Inspire, the designs feature clean lines and a single use of material. The black colour suggests simplicity and fluidity. According to the designers, the pieces ‘are condensed expressions of meaning, similar to Japanese calligraphy’.
The exhibition will take place between 20 September and 31 October.
