Weil am Rhein, Germany – From the humble Post-it note to the perfectly formed wall plug, a new exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum celebrates the design of everyday objects.
The Hidden Heroes: The Genius of Everyday Things exhibition presents 35 examples of well-designed, everyday items. The show includes objects that can be found in their billions worldwide, such as the zipper and the tin can, whose design has not changed for decades.
The exhibition is similar to the current New Simplicity show in London, which celebrates a return to basic design. LS:N Global expects to see more Leanomics design in the coming months.
The Hidden Heroes exhibition runs until 19 September.
