Tokyo – Japanese design studio Nendo has created the Starbucks Espresso Journey pop-up shop, laid out like a library and designed to educate visitors about coffee.
The pop-up coffee shop was inspired by the relationship between reading and drinking coffee. Customers can browse through books on coffee, choose a drink featured in a book that best suits them, and collect it at the counter.
This is a well-executed pop-up that helps people to engage with the brand in an interactive way. For more on how to make your in-store experience compelling and meaningful, read our Tomorrow Store Toolkit.
