Electric avenue: Kiosk gives power to the people

Using compact and sustainable solar panels, the kiosk can generate enough power to run lighting, mobile phones, a car battery charger, a computer and a fridge.

Intended for assembly at onsite rural locations, the SolarKiosk is delivered as a lightweight kit to be constructed using local materials such as bamboo, wood and recycled goods. The kiosk offers jobs and training for local residents on how to operate and maintain the units, and how to run a sustainable business.
