Leeds – No longer for rebels and punks, tattoos have entered the mainstream with everyone from teens to 40somethings sporting one on their body. Recognising this ever-growing market, Under Your Skin was launched as a product line specifically for inked skin.

Under Your Skin includes three products for tattoo care – a daily hydrating cream, a vibrancy serum to enhance colours and a recover salve for fresh tattoos. The branding was designed by creative agency Robot Food, which took traditional archetypes of the tattoo world such as a heart and an anchor combined with minimalist typography to create an understated, modern brand.

‘We wanted to support and complement traditional tattoo culture with a minimalist, modern cosmetics range that would appeal to all that are inked, says Mike Johns, lead designer at Robot Food.
