Global – Epix has released an interactive 360-degree experience for the launch of tv series Berlin Station.
The project, developed by creative agency Ayzenberg, aims to create a VR-like experience on desktop and mobile without the need for cumbersome headwear. ‘We want to reach as broad an audience as possible without a barrier to entry,’ says Epix CEO Mark Greenberg.
‘Its major technological breakthrough is bringing narrative, engagement and deeper exploration to this new and fast-growing technology,’ says Steve Callanan, CEO at interactive video technology company Wirewax, which helped to produce the technology behind the website.
The website will be updated with new footage and interactive content to enable fans of the series to discover additional background information on characters and engage with the unfolding narrative.
