London – A new premium range of seafood evokes the heritage of the brand and its place of origin on the packaging. The smoked salmon, mackerel and tuna from Inishturkbeg, an island off the west coast of Ireland, come in packets bearing a strong colour palette and lush images of the island and its coastal scenery. Created by a team at design agency Coley Porter Bell, the packaging effectively ties the product story in with the identity of the island itself.
‘The identity is almost magnetic, drawing you in as the actual island does,’ says Adam Ellis, CPB design director.
As brands increasingly seek to engage with their customers, communicating the story behind a product will help set a Brandtocratic company apart from the rest.
