Sydney – Global carpet tile brand Interface invited six multidisciplinary designers to create an immersive showroom for the 2015 Sydney Indesign festival.
Design duo He Made She Made created Shape Shift, an installation encouraging visitors to examine a series of bold, organic shapes with their hands.
‘Shape Shift pushes the viewer to enhance their sensory awareness of their environment and shift their mind into play mode,’ explains Marine Coutroutsios, one half of He Made She Made.
The spirit of play also featured in The Sleepover by The Design Residency, which was inspired by childhood adventures, dressing up and cubby houses, while architects Daryl Jackson Robin Dyke (DJRD) encouraged visitors to take refuge and relax in a series of tranquil spaces.
