Budapest – Architect Daniel Balo has designed an interior for clothes brand Nanushka’s new store, featuring soft colours for a serene environment.

‘We wanted to create a soft, friendly environment for visitors that is in keeping with the design of the clothes. The space achieves a balance between the natural materials and the fabric,’ says Balo. ‘The light balloons project a very soft and calm light, which is constant and equal.’

This is a great example of soft colours being combined with coarser materials to create a Revivalist aesthetic. For more on this design direction, read our Hauntology Inspire.
