The Netherlands – Dutch company Roamler has launched a free iPhone app that helps brands and companies collect data and research. Users are paid to complete small tasks based on their location.
Tasks might include taking photos of different environments and asking users to think of different ways in which products can be placed and promoted. Users then send the finished task to the company and those who perform well earn €2–4 ($2.79–5.59, £1.75–3.50).
Users collect points for each assignment they complete. The more jobs they do, the higher the level and the more complex new jobs become. Users ultimately become part of an extended workforce.
