Tokyo – Fashion retailer Uniqlo has launched a website for people to share pictures of themselves wearing the chain’s clothes.
Uniqlooks is a members-only photo-sharing community site that lets people post pictures of themselves. It features people out and about using street-style photography.
Members can browse other users’ images and ‘like’ them to build their own ‘lookbook’. When clicking on the garments, the user will be taken directly to the Uniqlo online store where they can buy similar items.
LS:N Global has reported on Uniqlo’s innovative ways of engaging with consumers. Another example is the Lucky Counter initiative.
