San Francisco – Without a storefront of its own, bicycle company Public Bikes has opened a pop-up shop inside Gap’s flagship store on Market Street.
While consumers have previously been able to buy bikes from Public’s website, they can now see how a mandarin orange bike matches a pair of Gap chinos in real life. Customers can also order a bike from an iPad and have it delivered to their door.
This is a great example of how two brands can collaborate. For more examples look out for LS:N Global’s awards for 2010/2011 – coming soon.
