New York – If you need a lift to the airport or someone to help move your sofa, you could download mobile microlistings application Anttenna.
The app is free and offers location-based person-to-person exchanges. It features the ‘Anttweeting’ platform, built on Twitter, which enables users to communicate instantly with others.
One person with username JasonFour wrote: ‘I just landed at the airport. Anyone want to share a ride to UCSD? Contact me ASAP.’ Other users can respond immediately by using the app’s chat feature.
All the listings on Anttenna are geo-tagged and broken into categories such as buying and selling. For more on location-based social networking, read our Geo-marketing report.
