Fusion tea

28 : 07 : 2015 Paper & Tea : Vodka Tea Infusion : Our/Vodka

Berlin – Speciality tea brand Paper & Tea has released a kit that enables consumers to infuse vodka with tea leaves.

  • The Vodka Tea Infusion kit comes in Chinese white tea and Japanese green tea varieties
  • Collaboration with Pernod Ricard-backed Our/Vodka

Each kit comes with a 350ml bottle of Our/Berlin vodka, 6g of tea and an infusion tea filter. To brew the blend, customers empty the sachet of tea into the filter, which is then placed inside the Our/Berlin bottle and left to steep overnight at room temperature. Once infused, the vodka can be drank straight or used in a cocktail.

‘Now, more than ever, people are interested in where their food comes from, who makes it and which craft went into perfecting it,’ Sean Dunn, head of marketing communication at Paper & Tea, tells LS:N Global, adding that the DIY drink helps consumers ‘decide for themselves how intensely they want to infuse their vodka’.

The Big Picture: DIY drinks that enable consumers to combine and infuse spirits with their favourite flavours are growing in popularity. For another heady innovation, take a look at our Whiskey Elements Seed.
