Berlin – A new camera concept captures time and link it to photos online taken at the exact same moment.
Unlike a conventional analogue or digital camera, the Button ‘blind’ camera created by artist Sascha Pohflepp uses a mobile communication device to capture the moment, not just personally but via photos taken by other people.
When its button is pressed, the camera connects to a Sony Ericsson K750i; it then connects to the internet and searches the Flickr photo-sharing site for other pictures taken at exactly the same time. These are displayed on the device’s screen.
As explored in our Alphalux trend report, consumers are increasingly seeking products that deliver a significant emotional experience.
