A Pennsylvania coffee company has given its brand a luxury feel with sophisticated new packaging.
Created by US designer Joshua Lepley, the Alabaster Coffee Roaster + Tea Co.'s new monochromatic bottles, bags and labels marry minimalism with elegance.
The redesign was prompted by a close finish at America's Best Espresso Competition in New York, according to The Dieline. After the micro-roaster lost out by half a point to a competitor, Alabaster decided to commission a new packaging design that would give it national appeal.
The design draws on Alabaster's original logo, a simple shape reminiscent of LS:N Global's Emblematic design direction.
As experiences and design become increasingly important to customers, brands are revisiting the quotidian drink and elevating it into the luxury sphere. Read more about coffee as luxury here.
