Amsterdam – The first GPS-based architectural pocket guide for the iPhone has been launched. Produced by Dutch software company Makayama, the app covers 165 architects in 270 cities and includes hidden gems and major works by the likes of Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Rem Koolhaas. Users of the app are pointed in the direction of nearby buildings of note, and given a brief history of the design and the architects responsible.
