Nashville, Tennessee – Red Kap has been making durable workwear since 1923, but to demonstrate the robust nature of its latest product, the crew shirt, the company sent 300 promotional tops to distributors which had already been worn once by working men.
The shirts were field-tested and then collected, cleaned and packaged with feedback and endorsement from the wearer. The packaging of each shirt shows the story of the man who tried the product, from mechanics to machinists.
The concept and packaging brings to life the brand’s ethos of creating long-lasting workwear uniforms which are worn and approved by real labourers.
LS:N Global forecasted the rise of the Meet Your Maker approach, whereby brands add a human element to their products. Red Kap has taken this on a step, by sending out tried-and-tested clothing.
