Canada – A new smartphone designed by researchers at Queen’s University Human Media Lab in Kingston, Ontario, bends and changes shape in order to indicate incoming calls, messages and emails.
The new MorePhone screen is thin and flexible and features an electrophoretic display that enables it to bend. Users can customise the screen, and set one corner to curl up for an incoming text, two for an email and repeatedly to indicate urgency. Users need never miss an incoming call or important email or message again.
