Germany – German sportswear brand Adidas has launched its spring/summer 2013 NEO youth-focused collection with an interactive video look book.
The shoppable online catalogue features short clips of teenagers riding bikes, stealing kisses and hoola-hooping. Customers can click on characters in the video to buy what they are wearing.
The scenes in the look book come from the abstract video, Live Your Style, a stylish compilation of youth culture moments made for Adidas by US director Ryan Reichenfeld.
Shoppable videos that enable customers to watch and interact with video catalogues have caught on quickly with online retailers. By showing clothes moving in 3D, interactive video brings online shopping closer to the offline experience.
