Amsterdam – Dutch denim brand Denham has launched a new range of Virgin jeans made from paper selvedge. The denim consists of 50% Japanese recycled paper pulp and 50% indigo cotton for an ultra-lightweight feel.
The jeans are designed to be worn in more quickly than those made of 100% cotton. They come packaged with a denim laundry bag and a special bar of Cathartic soap made from natural enzymes, formulated to preserve the paper selvedge.
