Copenhagen – Danish typeface design agency e-Types has opened a shop selling digital fonts in a physical space. Customers can buy fonts loaded onto USB sticks.
By contrast, at its online type foundry Playtype, fonts can be downloaded or sent by email. Big, bold letters cover the walls and window display. T-shirts, posters and homeware printed using the fonts are also on sale.
This is a great example of how an online brand can merge with the real world. For more examples, read our Retail report.
