Global – Nameless.tv is a new media company that emphasises live conversation between its viewers.
The team at Nameless.tv hand-pick a selection of interesting and popular videos from YouTube, which the company licenses using blockchain-powered start-up Monegraph. The site categorises its content into 21 channels, including ASMR, documentary interviews, anime and drone footage.
On Nameless.tv the comments section shares the spotlight with the content. A live feed of audience conversation is shown alongside the videos and viewers are encouraged to participate and engage on social media. ‘It’s about chatting with people at the same time as you are watching a video,’ Kareem Rahma, CEO of Nameless.tv, told Observer Business & Tech.
Messaging and communication is playing an increasingly important role in streaming media. Google Chrome extension Netflix Party, for example, allows people to share their viewing experience with friends remotely.
