Seoul – Luxury Parisian brand Givenchy has opened a new stand-alone store in Seoul, with a mid-century modernist interior featuring a mix of high and low materials.
The Givenchy store will stock men’s, women’s and accessories collections in an interior of stark black and white marble. This is juxtaposed with rough concrete – reminiscent of 1950s Brutalist architecture – and chevron wood flooring.
The mix of materials creates a luxurious and minimalist setting, which allows the clothes and accessories to be at the forefront of the shopper’s mind and eye.
The Givenchy store is following a popular aesthetic in retail of late, featured in our Brutalist Feminine design direction. Read it now to find out how your brand can achieve a similar look.
