Melbourne – The branding and packaging specialists at Amy Lewis Design have launched ecoChici, the firm’s own brand of re-usable fabric wrapping for the 2012 holiday season.
Fed up with the amount of waste generated by gift-wrapping, Amy Lewis and her partner Phil devised ecoChici with sustainability in mind. Consumers may be reluctant to buy expensive wrapping that they give away and never see again, but the Lewises envisage their product will remain within households to be used repeatedly. ‘Our Christmas Pack is designed specifically for this purpose,’ they say. ‘Keep it with your Christmas decorations and use it year after year.’
Patterns come printed with Christmas themes, birthday messages or a gift tag pattern called Heirloom. This pattern, in particular, is designed to be a record of gifts given over the years.
