UK – Many consumers are accustomed to playing music to help spur them on during daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning. FoodBeats, created by social agency Outside Line for Danish butter brand Lurpak, is an online tool that curates playlists based on the recipes you’re cooking.
Launched in April, FoodBeats allows consumers to enter the dish they are creating and how long it will take to prepare. Once entered, FoodBeats taps into music-discovery site Last.fm’s online archive and recommends songs that will complement the dish.
