Malaysia – Advertising and marketing communications agency Ogilvy Malaysia has taken advertising to a new level of fantasy with its latest campaign, Imagine That.
With the help of local Lego builders and artists, Ogilvy has produced three bus shelter adverts called Whale, Caterpillar and Monster in which the surrounding environment is part of the composition.
The innovative campaign makes you believe that the logo is part of real life. Playing on the concept of games and reality, the Imagine That campaign reinforces the endless possibilities of Lego.
This is a great example of how advertising can tap into consumers’ imaginations and change their perception towards the environment. For more examples of how brands are using games to engage with consumers, read our Prohibition Gaming micro trend.
