Richmond, Indiana – Footwear brand Keds is touring US college campuses in a 32-foot travelling shoebox.
The tour will feature multimedia exhibits, including a touchscreen kiosk where students can customise their Keds, buy them on the spot and enter them into a design competition called How Do You Do Your City?
Other activities will include How Do You Do Charity? in which students can earn $1 per Twitter post for an art-based charity. Local artists will then interpret the posts.
Brands are increasingly using mobile pop-ups to connect with consumers. For more details, read our Conviviality Culture report. For more on Keds, read our Innovate feature.
