New York – The images were created by Jenna Josepher, Alexandra Papadopoulos and photographer Jesse Untracht-Oakner.

With current imagery and advertisements for sex toys perceived as suggestive or discriminatory, SFW is a new series of images that aims to promote a progressive, inclusive and socially conscious approach.

‘We wanted to work within the boundaries of social media censorship, with the aim to create a visual language that people would find both aesthetically pleasurable and entertaining, regardless of personal identity,’ reads a statement from the project’s creators.

The series of images, entitled SFW, or Suitable For Work, consists of geometric colour-blocked compositions and GIFs described by the creators as ‘miniature landscapes’. To ensure the campaign would be as wide-reaching as possible, the GIFs were designed to bypass social media policies on sharing lewd imagery.
