Beauty talk

27 : 04 : 2015 Beauty : Trends : Forum

London – Beauty, it seems, is far more than skin deep, and consumers are increasingly embracing 21st-century technology in their search for perfection. Next week at our Elder Street office, we will host a two-day Beauty Futures Forum on 6 and 7 May – an annual bulletin on the next three to five years in the beauty and wellness sector.

Join us to explore the new vocabulary, visual cues and technologies that beauty brands are deploying to appeal to the next generation of digitally savvy consumers. Find out how Big Data is driving beauty as well as understanding why customers are going on a Dirty Detox. Our expert analysis and toolkits will help you to understand exactly what these trends mean for your business. There will also be an opportunity to spend the morning with our team exploring some of the latest, most innovative and experiential beauty, fragrance and skincare venues in East London’s Shoreditch.

In addition, our panel of industry experts will share the influential emerging trends on their collective radar. On 6 May join us to hear insights from Alain Schibl, executive chairman at Priv, Miriam Pettinen, senior director of partnerships and mobile strategy at ModiFace, Rebecca Goswell, global creative/art director at HCT Group, and Elizabeth Selvey, beauty buying manager at Selfridges & Co.

On 7 May we’ll be joined by Anita Bhagwandas, senior beauty editor at British Marie Claire, Professor Christofer Toumazou, founder of GeneU, Brandon Truaxe, founder of DECIEM, and Mia Collins, divisional merchandise manager for beauty at Harrods.

We will also unveil our Ethnographic Vanity Room, which will bring to life The New Consumer section of the Beauty Futures report through a series of five immersive installations. We’ll show how brands can tap in to the beauty psyche of Generation D, Millennials, Generation X, Generation Jones and Baby Boomers through our displays of custom-designed furniture, future products and original video content, which will be previewed for the first time at the event.

And don’t worry about taking notes. Every guest will leave with a copy of our 180-page Beauty Futures report and a goody bag containing key products mentioned on the day. For further details, and to book your place, please email Alena Joyette or call +44 (0) 20 7870 1991.
