London – A new personal shopping suite has opened at Topman’s Oxford Street flagship store.
The space, created by designer Lee Broom, is intended to convey a mood similar to a contemporary gentleman’s club. The convivial suite includes an Xbox gaming area and three bespoke consultation areas.
‘The space was designed to engage, inspire and give men a personal chill-out zone as they consider their shopping choices,’ explains the designer.
The service, with no obligation to buy, is available free to all customers. ‘The increase in interest in men’s fashion at high street level has shown the need to invest in a dedicated personal shopping service,’ says Giles Farnham, personal shopping assistant manager at Topman Oxford Circus. ‘We will offer all types of guys access to the latest trends and styles to suit their particular needs.’
The demand for personalised retail experiences and increased levels of service is further explored in our Beyond Retail macro trend.
