London – It’s Nice That has designed a satirical window display for The Conran Shop that pokes fun at overused industry buzzwords.
Hosted at The Conran Shop’s South Kensington location, A Load of Jargon examines the lack of meaning behind certain phrases that are used by creative industry insiders.
The project comprises five installations designed by creative duo Isabel + Helen. A machine that continuously shoots out ping pong balls represents the concept of Going Viral, while Easy Win comprises a ramp that leads up to a basketball net.
Visitors will be able to purchase merchandise based on the installations, such as a Thinking Cap cap, themed stationery, posters and tote bags.
Consumers are tired of jargon and want brands to speak in plain English. Watch our video on Craft in the Age of Authenticity to find out more.
