Aimed at time-poor office workers who are fed up eating lunch at their desk, but worried that going to a restaurant will take up more than their allotted lunch hour, Allset claims to get you in and out in under 30 minutes. Users order their food and drinks when they book the table using Allset’s app. The system also handles payment, so users can simply get up and leave once they have finished their meal. The app covers a range of participating restaurants in New York and San Francisco.

The company also offers business accounts, allowing employers to give their staff individual credits to buy lunch. On its website Allset advertises the productivity benefits (30%) of taking a proper lunch break.

‘Everyone is trying to focus on only mobile payments or only booking, or only on take-out or only on delivery, but nobody was doing table reservations plus payment plus food,’ founder Stas Matviyenko told Eater.
