Milan – Digital designers presented captivating responses to Nike’s innovative textile research at the Art and Science of Supernatural Motion exhibition at Milan’s Nike Stadium as part of Milan Design Week 2013.
Quayola presented an animation that referenced both the skeletal structure of the foot and the flexibility of the Nike Flyknit and Free Run trainers. Universal Everything showed interactive walls of digital threads that formed and moved in response to people standing in front of them, referencing the textile composition of the Flyknit shoe.
