West Stockbridge, Massachusetts – Located in an historic railway station, café No Six Depot needed a brand identity that referenced its location while embracing a modern aesthetic.
Nashville design firm Perky Bros took on the task, creating a brand identity using illustration, muted pastel colours and a strong sans serif typeface throughout. Letterpressed labels and quirky drawings signal the hand-crafted local element of the small-batch coffee roaster and café, while the colour palette is sweet without being too saccharine.
With a refined aesthetic that has androgynous appeal, No Six Depot’s products are prime examples of No-gen Retail, a phenomenon of gender-neutral branding that appeals to both sexes. For more, read our Athena Woman macrotrend.
