New York – US rapper Yung Jake has created a multi-screen music video for his song e.m-bed.de/d.
The video, based on a dedicated website, begins on a fake YouTube page. After playing for a few seconds, multiple animated windows pop up, referencing social media sites and well-known cult blogs.
The song and the video both reference internet culture, and the dissemination of memes through these well-known platforms. The video uses the recognisable visual language of the internet to parody web hysteria and viral content.
