Liverpool – LS:N Global parent company The Future Laboratory, in association with Think Publicity will headline Liverpool’s Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) in March, with two guest presentations delivered by company co-founders Martin Raymond and Chris Sanderson.

The first presentation on Betapreneurial Futures will cover the shift towards a ‘try it and see’ entrepreneurial mindset increasing used by start ups to kick start innovation, ideas and new retail opportunities. The second, Consumer Futures, will look at the changing face of consumers, ‘as we shift from an income- and class-based mindset to be more concerned with attitudes and behaviour,’ explains Raymond.

Other speakers at the event will include Deborah Leary OBE, President of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE), the UK’s digital champion and co-founder of Lastminute.com Martha Lane Fox, and Jalak Jobanputra, senior vice-president of the New York City Investment Fund.

‘A decade ago, when we established The Future Laboratory, Liverpool featured in our top 10 creative and cultural hubs to watch in the 21st century,’ says Raymond. ‘Quite a few brands pushed back on this at the time. Happily, Liverpool has proved them wrong.’
