New York– New York-based web mobile developers Adam Grossman and Jack Turner have launched a weather app that promises military-style accuracy in its predictions.
Known as Dark Sky, the app uses GPS technology to forecast the weather over your exact location with down-to-the-minute accuracy, all shown in a chart at the bottom of your mobile screen.
Able to predict one hour ahead, the app might tell you it will rain in six minutes for a period of eight minutes and then be sunny afterwards for a period of 12 minutes.
