Shibuya, Tokyo – Architecture and design practice Keiko + Manabu has created an installation, Magic Tent, in clothes brand Diesel’s concept store, which features the brand’s new homeware collection, Successful Living.
The installation consists of life-sized, multi-faceted mirrors that stand in the centre of the space. The surface of one features white and silver lines that produce the effect of being inside a circus tent.
This is a compelling example of a brand making use of an installation in a pop-up shop to launch a new range. For more examples of responsive installations shaping spaces for consumer interaction, read our Responsive Architecture micro trend.
