Seoul – The Cooking Library is the latest in a string of Seoul spaces from Hyundai Card, following the opening of the finance brand’s Design Library, Travel Library and Music Library.
Home to more than 10,000 food-focused books published from 1960 onwards, as well as a number of complete collections of food magazines, Hyundai Card’s Cooking Library has been designed to push the brand beyond finance, and offer a sanctuary for readers and food lovers alike.
The space also features other initiatives to enhance the culinary experience. The Ingredients House is filled with more than 200 herbs and spices for visitors to browse, smell and sample, two kitchens allow visitors to cook from the library’s books on-site, and an extensive schedule of activities and events runs throughout the year.
‘Our cultural projects, which include the Library Series, are designed to make Hyundai Card members feel that they get access to an attractive lifestyle, and this helps build emotional connections with our customers,’ says Eugene Chung, Hyundai Card’s global PR team lead.
As at the Hyundai Card Libraries, entry to the spaces is restricted to those with membership and their guests. Visits are also limited to eight per month.
