Residential retail

16 : 02 : 2017 The Future Perfect : Home-tail : Los Angeles

Los Angeles – The Future Perfect has opened a curated private residence where everything is for sale.

  • The retail space is designed to give consumers a one-off buying experience
  • It features products from jewellery, furniture, textile, ceramics and light designers

The gallery, Casa Perfect, is housed within a mid-century private residence in the West Hollywood Hills. It has been designed and curated to embody a Los Angeles residential space.

Featuring four bedrooms and an outdoor area, it strives to give consumers a bespoke retail experience that is not available anywhere else, and is available to visit by appointment only. At present, it features homeware products from established and up-and-coming designers.

‘When I found the house in the hills, I knew we could create something beyond retail, and give our clients an experience unique to The Future Perfect, but distinctly Los Angeles,’ explains David Alhadeff, founder of The Future Perfect.

The space will also host invitation-only events such as art performances, fashion presentations and private dinners.

The Big Picture

Home-tail has evolved beyond traditional retail, and is being adopted by galleries and the art world. For more on the evolution of Home-tail, see our In-situ Showrooms microtrend.
