London – Jacob Strand is a man on a mission: to bring the art of conversation to locations across the capital. The industrial designer is driving his mobile Supertramp wagon to various sites in London where he will set up a temporary space for a curated talk.
The first of these conversations, to be hosted this evening, will feature a discussion on Micro-living with guest speaker and previous LS:N Global Inform interviewee Thomas Thwaite.
Supertramp follows a similar trend in temporary urban experiences to DUS architects – the fluid architectural practice previously featured on LS:N Global that focuses on creating momentary structures.
Supertramp is also an example of the possibilities of the Betapreneurs, who having grown up on a diet of pop-up shops and temporary projects, but are now willing to try new models of business off the cuff.
