More for pores

28 : 04 : 2016 Skincare : Multi-functional : Masks

Singapore – Allies of Skin is a skincare range that flies in the face of complex, time-consuming beauty rituals.

  • Allies of Skin’s small range of products are designed to perform many beauty roles in one
  • The brand was founded in December 2015 in Singapore, but is now expanding to Hong Kong

The brainchild of biomedical and pharmaceutical science graduate Nicolas Travis, Allies of Skin specialises in just three products at present: a day and overnight mask and a toner mist.

This is because all of its products are adaptogenic, which means that they can adapt to the specific needs of each wearer. Once applied, the active ingredients work with the skin’s ability to heal and correct itself.

‘The status quo in Asia is a 14-step regime, but the truth is that’s a chore,’ Nicolas Travis, founder of Allies of Skin, tells LS:N Global. ‘Products should be designed to effortlessly complement our demanding lifestyles, be smart and effective, and most importantly, save us time.’

The Big Picture

With less time and more demands on their skin, consumers want more from their beauty routine. Find out how beauty products are becoming more efficient and multifunctional in our Multi-tasking Masks Insight.
