Sydney – Consumers can create their own yoghurt using a new DIY kit.
The Progurt pack, by Microbioflora, includes an incubator, 15 sachets of formula and a pot of probiotic syrup. To make yoghurt, the user fills a tub with milk and mixes in one of the sachets. This is sealed in the incubator and left for 12 to 14 hours.
Each sachet provides a formulation of probiotic bacteria to enhance and strengthen the immune system and is made from 100% natural ingredients.
Progurt is tapping the growing number of people who wish to explore the science behind food products, while adding a little DIY culture, and is a perfect example of how to engage with tomorrow’s foodists.
