Gatwick, UK – Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers can now enjoy the delights of a new clubhouse while they wait to board their flight.
The new lounge for Upper Class and Gold Card travellers, designed by FDArchitecture in conjunction with Virgin’s in-house design team, includes a rock garden and Cowshed spa, an entertainment lounge with Nintendo Wii stations, a family area, and a restaurant and bar.
‘A challenging brief has been answered by providing the relaxation of a Sunday morning, whether it’s a secluded, luxurious area to relax and enjoy the wonderful service and views, or a haven of tranquillity to allow our passengers to be pampered before boarding their flight,’ says Virgin’s senior design manager, Jeremy Brown.
Offering a relaxing space to indulge before a flight, the new clubhouse should be just the ticket for harried travellers.
