US – Google Glass is positioning itself as a stylish accessory rather than a piece of geeky wearable tech in September’s American edition of Vogue.
The September issue is the biggest of the year, and this time the 902-page opus is dedicated to all things tech. The Final Frontier editorial, shot by Tonne Goodman, features a dystopian landscape of finely dressed models in sculptural outfits, showing off the headgear.
The combination of bold colours, organic shapes and space age accessories in the 12-page editorial recalls LS:N Global’s Industrial Futurism design direction, which takes inspiration from science fiction with fantastical storytelling and theatrical forms.
