London – Dodd’s Gin is the latest product from boutique distillers, The London Distillery Company. Crafted in small batches at the company’s distillery, using proprietary methods and then hand-bottled and packaged, Dodd’s Gin is artisanal from start to finish.
The branding, created by UK agency United Creatives, reinforces the special, bespoke quality of the gin with hyper-stylised letter-pressed labels. Although the distillery was founded in 2011, the gin label’s design references the company’s inspiration, 18th-century entrepreneur Ralph Dodd, who tried – and failed – to set up his own London distillery.
The bold shapes, symbols and colours create an immediately distinguishable graphic identity that is both modern and nostalgic.
